Welcome to Starpress Tile. I am a ceramic tile artist working from my small studio in Longmont, Colorado. Every tile I create is finished by hand from fine porcelain clay. My collection of ceramic art tiles includes both solid-colored and hand-painted options, each inspired by the beauty of nature, stories, and everyday moments.
Whether you’re shopping for a decorative accent or dreaming up a custom commission, I put care and intention into every tile I make. I mainly sell online, but you may catch me at a local art show now and then. Starpress Tile was created with the hope that my handmade relief tiles would bring joy, beauty, and connection into the lives of others.

Creative Ways to Display Handmade Relief Tiles
One of the beneficial things about handmade tiles is their versatility. Each tile has a notch on the back, making it simple to hang as wall art with just a nail. These tiles, whether displayed solo or in a group, add a warm, artistic charm to any space.

I love helping others bring their own vision to life—whether you’re commemorating an event, illustrating a story, or adding a personal touch to your home. Carefully Crafted, One Tile at a Time
Every tile starts with porcelain clay and is finished using non-toxic glazes. I offer a range of solid colors, such as teal, forest green, purple, white, blue, and ice blue. For a more painterly touch, hand-painted tiles feature layered underglazes and clear gloss for a soft watercolor effect. Each one is unique, just like the story behind it.

Creating these ceramic art tiles is a hands-on journey. From designing and pressing the clay to refining details and glazing—each step is done with intention and care. Ceramic Art Tile Collections
Welcome to my ceramic art tile collections! Here, you will discover different themed tiles from animals and celestial skies to flowers, hearts, special moments and fable inspired tiles. Each tile is crafted from fine porcelain clay. The designs are meant to decorate and tell a story- helping to bring texture, color, and character into your home in a way mass-produced art never can.
My ceramic wall art tiles are hand painted using different underglazes with clear glaze, or finished with solid colored glazes. I am inspired by high relief sculpture and incorporate different sculptural elements in my work. I love working with clay and refining it until a design feels just right. Each of my handmade ceramic tiles is one of a kind. Detailed finishes and working in small batches help ensure each tile is created with care.
When you choose individual tiles or a collection of handmade ceramic art tiles into your space, you add more than just decor; you create an atmosphere. Whether you choose a single tile as a statement or a group of tiles to make a gallery arrangement, they can transform a plain wall into something that feels elegant and inviting.
